1995년 '도움의 전화'에서 1996년 한국여성의전화 익산지부가 된 익산여성의전화는
1998년 1366 여성위기전화 업무를 시작으로 1999년 부설 가정폭력상담소를 설립하게 되었습니다.
익산여성의전화 부설 가정폭력상담소에서는 여성이라는 이유로
폭력과 차별의 고통을 겪는 분들을 무료로 전화, 면접, 법률상담을 받을 수 있도록 하고 있으며,
의료지원(의료비 지원 등)과 법적지원(진술서 작성, 수사동행, 재판동행 등)을 하고 있습니다.
